The comeback of a model building legend

It’s a well-known nuisance for ambitious model builders: you’re looking for a specific large model to crown your collection, but the market is empty. On auction platforms, astronomical sums are often charged for out-of-stock kits, which spoils the fun of the hobby. With the reissue of the Heinkel He 111P-1 we are solving exactly this problem. You no longer have to pay exorbitant prices on the used market. Revell brings back this gigantic kit – freshly packaged and with updated instructions so you can concentrate fully on the building pleasure.

The Heinkel He 111P-1 is not just an aircraft model; it is a project. When you open the box you will be impressed by the sheer quantity and size of the components. It is a kit for those who do not want to compromise. The 1:32 scale allows for detailing that is simply impossible at smaller scales – from the rivet structures to the interior of the bomb bay.

You’ll spend hours recreating the complex mechanics and aerodynamic lines of this bomber. The finished model is an absolute eye-catcher (“showstopper”) due to its sheer size. It is the perfect choice for you if you are ready to invest time and passion in a masterpiece that is rightly considered a sought-after rarity in the community.

Background

The Heinkel He 111 was the backbone of the German fighter aviation units at the beginning of the Second World War. The P version in particular with its characteristic, fully glazed nose cockpit shaped the image of this medium-weight bomber and gave it an unmistakable silhouette. This aerodynamic optimization significantly improved visibility for the crew and became the hallmark of the “Battle of Britain”. The He 111 is now considered one of the most iconic aircraft designs of the 1930s and 40s. With this kit you can bring home a piece of this technical history on a monumental scale.
