Vallejo Thick Mud

Vallejo’s Thick Mud (part of their Diorama FX line) is a high-density, water-based paste designed to create realistic wet-mud textures in scale models and diorama bases. Ideal for building up volume, it mimics accumulations and splatters of actual mud, perfect for tracks, wheels, and terrain detail. The formula is non-toxic, solvent-free, and ready-to-use straight from the pot, though thinning with water or Vallejo thinner allows for blending or streak effects. It dries to a slightly glossy, lifelike finish typically within 30–45 minutes depending on thickness.
