Introduction 

New formula acrylic colors with a satin finish, extra resistant and impact proof especially designed for airbrushing surfaces exposed to aggressive manipulation. The advanced formulation contains a revolutionary component which guarantees exceptional adherence on even the most difficult surfaces, and offers great resistance to rough handling, impact, friction, scratches, etc. Once dry, the Mecha surface looks the same as the original plastic of the model, while yet the smallest details of the original remain clearly visible. The color range includes primers as well as special varnishes – also with an exclusive formulation- and a series of colors for aging and weathering effects.

It is recommended to apply the Mecha colors in several layers on the previously primed surface; a few hours after application the colors will have dried to form a homogenous coating of extraordinary strength and resistance.
Mecha Color can be airbrushed directly or diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver, and the colors can also be applied by brush.

Surfaces

Mecha Colors a des performances exceptionnelles sur tous les matériaux. L'adhérence des couleurs sur la résine, le plastique, l'acier et le métal blanc est extraordinaire. De plus, les surfaces ne nécessitent pas d'apprêt préalable. Ce n'est que dans le cas d'une base très foncée qu'il peut être utile d'appliquer d'abord un apprêt afin d'augmenter la luminosité des couleurs finales.

Comment utiliser

Bien agiter avant utilisation. Verser la peinture directement dans l'aérographe, non diluée ou préalablement diluée avec le Diluant (71261). Les couleurs peuvent être mélangées dans la coupelle de l'aérographe. Game Air sèche presque instantanément sur le modèle et permet une application immédiate des processus de vieillissement ainsi que l'utilisation de lavis, de pigments et de techniques de brossage à sec.

Mecha Colors possède les certificats de sécurité internationaux suivants : EN71-3:2013 et ASTM D-4236. Ces certifications indépendantes garantissent qu'aucune substance nocive n'est utilisée qui pourrait présenter un risque pour la santé de l'utilisateur et de l'environnement.

Aérographe et Compresseur

The viscosity of Mecha Colors lets you work with airbrushes as small as 0.2 mm without diluting the colors. Environmental conditions can alter the viscosity of the product and cause the need for further dilution. The compressor adjustment recommended is 15 – 20 PSI o 0.5 to 1 kg. For best airbrush maintenance we recommend using the Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner.

Emballage:

Mecha Color is available in 17 ml/0.57 fl oz bottles (with eyedropper). Mecha Primer and Mecha Varnish are also available in 60 ml/2.02 fl oz and 200 ml/6.76 fl oz bottles (with flip top and eyedropper).
