I assume the power supply works fine. The Static King seems to be making a static field like it’s supposed to. Results are not as good as Woodland claims but I think it’s as many people say on-line about the static grass thing: it takes some time and practice to get really good results.
A must have with static grass applicator

I bought the WS FS641 as I was also ordering a WS Static King static grass applicator as I will be flocking large terrain boards and having a mains power rather than a battery means I am never going to get caught out.
Works well.
