410A Micro Shear Ultra Flush Cutter by Xuron 90036

Blades don't align well. Worse than the free ones thrown in with my 3d printer or my old dull pairs.

Bought these for removing sprues on my plastic models. They don't cut flush on plastic sprues. But after some testing, I found that when used for cutting thin wire and metal sprues, these cutters do in fact create a more flush cut than my other cutters. Basically they don't create that pointed middle pinch in metal that classic cutters do, so you don't end up with a sharp spiked end. I recommend these for soft metal, but not plastic (that's why I give 4/5)

Contrary to the name, I would hardly call these cutters “Ultra Flush” as they still leave a noticeable stub on parts.

They are however light, fit nicely in the hand and are reasonably precise when working with smaller parts.

Not exactly what I was hoping for when I bought them, but they’re good utility cutters. I’d recommend these for anyone just getting into the hobby.

I bought a less expensive cutter from your store which I lost in a move. I found this one not to be as crisp. It's ok but I think I will look for a TAMIYA one soon.
