Description

Thinner medium for oil colors specially designed to improve and shorten the drying time of the washes, filters and glazes. It accelerates drying of any oil colors and enamel paints in the
market. It doesn´t change or modify the quality characteristics of the oil pigments, and allows undertones and permanent washes. It doesn’t get yellowish or crack. Dries quickly to add more flexibility and agility to your works.

Great product for oil washes

I use this primarily for oil washes paired with the Abteilung oils. The fast dry is good, if not a bit too glossy for my liking, but it does what it says on the label- dries fast

It Works as its Name Suggests

I have used both Abteilung 502 Thinner and now the Fast Dry Thinner. I prefer the Fast Dry Thinner. It provides plenty of working time but dries far faster than regular Abteilung 502 Thinner. The Fast Thinner also dries with a flat finish while I find the regular thinner tends to dry a bit shiny. The Fast Dry Thinner is now my go-to for oil-based paints.

This is a good product. I find it really speeds up the time for doing washes and oil effect weathering.

Excellent!

If you are looking to use oils on your models Abteilung are THE BEST. Amazing colors. I have the regular thinner, the Matt finish thinner and I now purchases the fast drying thinner, amazing product. Highly recommended
