Intro
Hello all. This is David and Paul from Sunward Hobbies.
For many videos, you’ve seen me build models, but today you’re going to see me turn Paul into a melf. Whatever. All right. So, today, as you can see, I’ve brought my full makeup kits for special effects and beauty. Uh, you already know I love to build models, but this is my other passion.
And today I’m going to be turning Paul into an elf with these uh prosthetic ears from Woochie, uh that’s about it. Uh you ready, Paul? Yes. Yes, I am, I guess. Okay, let’s do this. Okay. So, first thing I’m going to do is with the prosthetic ears, because they are hollow, I filled them with some cotton just so that um you can still squeeze it and it won’t cave in on itself. And we are going to test fit these to Paul’s ears. Pretty good fit.
So now we can start applying our adhesive. All right. So, now I need you to remove your glasses. Uh, but I can’t see without them. All right. So, I’m going to apply some Prozade just to the anchor points of his arm of his ear, excuse me. So that this appliance is on there good and steady.
Next, I’ll be taking what we call Prozade cream, which is just Prozade with some cabbasil mixed in to make it thicker. And this is going to help blend the edges of this latex appliance into Paul’s skin. And then add a little bit of translucent powder on a sponge.
Plan B. Uh, because this appliance is not custom fitted to Paul, uh, there were some gaps that I just couldn’t close with Prozade. So, I took out some scar wax. That should fill in the gaps, plus blend in the edges. Now, because this stuff is a little sticky, uh you’re best to take some water, uh just put it on your finger and use that to smooth it out.
So, the scar wax definitely helped. Uh, now we’re going to just uh quickly cut and let Paul put on his uh special tunic and then we’ll resume. My name is Paul. I’m being held. And next I’m going to give Paul some concealer. This you can get. This is Macs concealer. I like to uh put it on my wrist and warm it up before I apply it. I’m having fun, Paul, aren’t you?
My name is Paul. I’m being help. This under eye concealer will cover any dark spots or any kind of imperfections that the subject may have. I’m having a lot of fun. Good. You should be. Uh, next, because he is an elf, he’s going to need some rosy cheeks. So, with a fluffy angled brush, I’m going to take some MAC blush.
This bottom middle one right here. Now, in makeup, it is important to not pack everything on all at once. You want to work in layers. You can always add, but it’s a lot harder to take away. And now to finish off his makeover part of this application, I’m taking some what they call a highlighter. This will add some shimmer and glow to his makeup. Now I’m going to start painting these ears. just with some Cinema Secrets concealer.
I’m doing his uh main flesh undertone first and then uh later on I will go in with some reds and some low lightss for the uh creases in between. Now I’m lightly applying some of a pinkish red to the thin areas of the ear. I love it here at Sunward Hobbies. So do I. So next I’m going to darken the crevices with a reddish brown eyes shadow. And we’re done. Paul is now an elf. Now I got to get out there and uh help customers.
It is my job after all as an elf. Hey, you want some false lashes? We’re done here.
Heat. Heat.
Heat. Heat.
Hey, where’s my order? My order.
I got to be in my ex-wife’s house in 2 minutes. Hurry up. Me and the other elves are working as fast as we can this holiday season to make sure you receive the present you deserve. Rest assured, despite all the troubles, it will arrive safe and sound.
So, merry Christmas and a wonderful holidays. About time, jerk.
