These burned tufts pair greatly with a grim dark, washed out style of painting or for any base or diorama you are seeking to create a darker feel for. These are the taller 6mm tufts. There are also 2mm tufts which go great with them and can create a scorched appearance to an area of a base, diorama or piece of scenery/terrain. Pictured here you can see the burned tuft applied to a finished base/figure. The figure is from Northstar Military Figures, and is from their Silver Bayonet range.
Perfect for a 40k or “Western Front” unit in bolt action. Placed on a nice fine ballast and it looks awesome.

They look nice and adhere well. I've even airbrushed over some and they keep their colour well.
