Description

The 150mm SFH18 howitzer was widely used by the Wehrmacht during World War II on all major fronts. It was developed in the interwar period by Rheinmetall and Krupp, the main artillery manufacturers in Germany, to optimize resources and technological capabilities within the limits imposed by the Treaty of Versailles. From 1933 Germany’s rearmament plans became more ambitious and significantly increased the production of both howitzers and guns. The SFH18 had a simple but reliable structure and a maximum range of 13.5 km. It could be pulled by horses, broken down into two sections, or more commonly during the war by half-track vehicles. It employed seven servants for positioning and firing operations.

Assembly and painting required. Kit does not include model cement glue, paint, and tools. Adult supervision where required.
