Description

This large twin-engine was made for the American Air Force as a support aircraft directed to the troops and for the tank destroyer role. Heavily armored in all vital areas and equipped with heavy launch and drop armament, the A-10 is nevertheless a very maneuverable aircraft at low altitude and this skill is essential to survive the opposing counter-aircraft reaction. The Thunderbolt is practically built around the formidable 30mm GAU-8 cannon which is capable of piercing armor armor thanks to its exceptional ballistic qualities and special ammunition. Around the mid-2000s, the A-10, in its “C” version, was improved to better adapt to changing operational needs. 

Assembly and painting required. Kit does not include model cement glue, paint, and tools. Adult supervision where required.
