Description

The Sukhoi Su-33 (NATO: Flanker-D) is a Soviet, twin-engine interceptor, with folding wings. The flight of the aircraft, which is a development of the Su-27, took place in 1987. The entry into service on the aircraft carrier “Admiral Kuznetsov” took place in 1994. The aircraft is very similar to the Su-27 in terms of its overall structure, but it has an additional horizontal tail in the front part of the fuselage. Two main versions of the aircraft were created: Su-33MK-fighter version and Su-33KUB-two-seater school version. Technical data: length: 21.94m, wingspan: 14.7m, height: 5.93m, maximum speed: 2300km / h, rate of climb: 246m / s, practical ceiling: 17000m, maximum range: 3000km, armament: fixed – 1 cannon GSz-30-1, caliber 30 mm, suspended – up to 6500 kg of cargo.
