MENG Model Takes Flight with Dune Harkonnen Ornithopter Model Kit

Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures’ Blockbuster ‘Dune: Part Two’ is Currently in Theaters Worldwide

MENG is set to unveil the DS-009 1/72 Dune Harkonnen Ornithopter model kit, licensed from Legendary Entertainment. Inspired by Legendary’s Dune: Part Two, filmmaker Denis Villeneuve’s big screen adaptation of Frank Herbert’s sci-fi masterpiece DUNE, this meticulously crafted model, now available as an intricately designed kit, truly encapsulates the essence of this iconic aircraft. The Harkonnen Onithopter, distinguished by its six agile wings, delivers remarkable lift through rapid wing flaps. This feature not only facilitates vertical takeoffs and landings, but also provides exceptional maneuverability and speed in flight. Ingeniously designed, the ornithopter’s wings can be retracted to allow for high-speed descents, preserving its signature agility.

The remarkable flying machine is a prized addition for Dune fans and a new challenge for modelers. This kit accurately captures the Harkonnen Ornithopter’s intricate details, from its wings to its landing gear. Every part is carefully designed to offer a highly realistic representation and provide maximum enjoyment during assembly.

Assembly and painting required. Kit does not include model cement glue, paint, and tools. Adult supervision where required.
