Description

TWO PART EPOXY PUTTY

Black Milliput is the most recent addition to our range of products. Ideal if you want to match a black surface without painting it afterwards. Once cured the beauty of Milliput is that it can be drilled, filed and sanded while still retaining its adhesive properties and bonding strength.

Typical applications:

  • Repair of antique clocks
  • Guttering
  • Ebonised wood
  • Marble
  • Slate
  • Cast Iron
  • Basalt ceramics
  • Black plastic parts
  • Automotive applications
  • Jewellery making

Features:

  • Self hardening
  • Non-shrinking
  • Tough and durable
  • Highly adhesive to most materials
  • Water and chemical resistant
  • Sets under water and is electrically insulating
  • Moulds like putty – sets like rock!

INSTRUCTIONS
Mix equal quantities of the two parts for at least five minutes until the
colours merge and become uniform and no streaks can be seen.

Milliput is then ready to use.

Speed of hardening is dependent on temperature and at normal room temperatures Milliput becomes rock hard in 34 hours.

Milliput, great stuff!

I used the black Milliput to repair a broken fan / oven light rocker switch on my Jenn-Air stove. The switch is no longer available or manufactured. I was a bit skeptical about the putty but it worked like a charm.
This truly is an amazing material, easily worked / sculpted and dries to a very hard ceramic like finish. Forms a super strong bond as well. Have some methyl hydrate handy to clean your hands afterwards. Highly recommended!
