In the mid 1950’s chevy introduced their new overhead valve V-8 engine commonly referred to as the “Small-Block” Chevy. These ’55-’57 equipped cars have become known as the “Tri-Chevys”. The 1957 is the most popular of them all. The Bel Air version is the top of the line with extra features and trim that sets it apart. The rear tail fins were a styling trend that celebrated the jet age.
