The Jeep Rubicon edition is named after the Rubicon Trail in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The Jeep brand, now owned by Fiat-Chrysler, is one of the top selling car lines in the world. In 1963, a version of the original Jeep vehicle made claim to being the first sports utility vehicle (SUV). It has come a long way from it humble beginnings as a reconnaissance vehicle for the U.S. Army.
