Orient Express: Build the King of Trains as a complete set

It’s often frustrating when you want to recreate a historical scene but have to laboriously find the individual components. Especially with legendary trains, the right wagon for the locomotive is often missing. With this kit we solve this problem for you. After an absence of over 25 years, we are bringing back a legend that leaves nothing to be desired. Here you not only get the tractor, but also a complete composition including tender, sleeping and dining car. This allows you to bring the full aesthetic of the luxurious railway era directly to your crafting table without having to compromise on the composition.

Finally back: This kit has not been available in the range for over 25 years – a real rarity returns.

The Orient Express represents the splendor and style of bygone days like no other means of transport. When building this model, you will delve deep into the technology of the steam era. The fine engravings on the wagons and the complex mechanics of the locomotive require a steady hand and experience in model building. Here you are creating a showcase model that impresses with its sheer length and the combination of technology and luxurious interior design.

Since this kit has been off the market for so long, it now offers you an exclusive chance to fill a gap in your collection. It’s a project for long evenings in which you will resurrect the “Procession of Kings” step by step. The combination of locomotive and wagons makes the model a complete work of art that perfectly captures the atmosphere of a journey from Paris to Istanbul.
Background information

The Orient Express was more than just a rail service; he was a myth on rails. First used in 1883, it connected the Occident with the Orient and offered a luxury that was previously unthinkable on trains. Kings, spies, diplomats and artists traveled in its teak and velvet cabins. However, the train gained worldwide fame not only because of its comfort, but above all because of Agatha Christie’s novel “Murder on the Orient Express”. The version presented here captures exactly this zeitgeist, in which traveling was still a real adventure full of elegance.
