Description

The tornado is one of NATO’s most successful and versatile weapon systems and has already proven itself in many conflict situations. At the beginning of every conflict, RAF tornadoes equipped with ALARM guided missiles are among the first allied aircraft to fly into enemy airspace on their dangerous air defense mission. After this, other Tornado units can safely follow and fly precision bomb attacks and enemy positions. Thanks to the large 2250 l additional tanks, the RAF tornadoes also have an extraordinary range. The top speed is 1340 km / h at a height of 150 m.
