(10 A Blades) & Surgical Swann Morton No3 Surgical Scalpel FXF 3

I borrowed one Swann Morton Surgical handle FXF3 from a friend and 2 10 A Blades some while ago and decided to try them out.

They are flat and fit really well in the hand. They allow one finger to guide the flat handle. Kit I was working on had such fine parts that my small saw would not work easily. I Put down my exacto knives are and these were a delight even on the fine kit PE.

10A blade - (sheffield steel (not sterilized) ) is high quality with a long end and incredibly sharp. Controlled cut, great for picking up small parts to place on a kit as the point leaves an almost invisible mark. There are curved blades super for scribing and it is easier to remove burrs from separated parts.

For for the small spaces on some sprues they get in there. They are cheaper since you buy a 100 and they seems to last for more than one kit.

They are not a replacement for all other blades, but an excellent addition to your tool kit set. (Swann Morton also makes a slim round handle tool (similar to (exacto) that uses their blades.)

Tweezers are best to slide blade into a small slot on front of handle. Once in, they do not move. To remove lift lightly at the back end of the blade to slide out. Finger only attachment not advised.

There are precision tools at an excellent price!

Thanks as always to Sunward Hobby for having these and there prompt delivery service.
