Description

This is a 1/35 scale set of five British infantrymen which includes a squad leader, an ammunition loader, and riflemen who are cautiously carrying out a patrol. Set includes each squad member depicted in natural poses with realistic expressions. Accessories such as the Sten sub machine gun, Bren light machine gun, Enfield rifles, haverasacks, and back packs all have a fine finish.

Assembly and painting required. Kit does not include model cement glue, paint, and tools. Adult supervision where required.

Great figure set.

Great set, fairly standard Tamiya figures coming in multiple pieces assembled into a soldier with good details all around. Highly recommend this set especially at such a low price.

They went that away...

I wanted figures I could use as Canadian infantrymen on a small vignette set somewhere in Northwest Europe. The Tamiya figures can certainly be passed off as Canadian infantry since British/Canadian uniforms and kit were more or less interchangeable in WWII.

The only drawback with the Tamiya figures is they tend to be a bit 'wooden'. I had to do a lot of shaping to find poses that fit my needs. So far I've only painted one, but the rest will come in handy for any diorama featuring British or Canadian armour.
