Special non-scratch inserts in the jaws reduce the likelihood of scratches, making them a great choice when working on delicate components like damper shafts and ball connectors from R/C models.

Spring Loaded jaw.

They can also be used when working with aluminum wire.

Installing replacement inserts from Item 74167 (sold separately)

• Remove plastic inserts using a sturdy tool such as a screwdriver in the hole. Alternatively, pry off using a screwdriver between plastic inserts and tool.
• Align protrusions on plastic inserts with holes on long nose pliers and attach.
