Paints very well with a brush and with the airbrush if thinned. It's very durable once it dries fully.

Another great product as usual from Vallejo... A very matte finish, just as advertised and it looks great on models!

Finding a good matt varnish can be hard. Some paints like MSP, Proacryl, and Golden SoFlat have extremely matt finishes and varnishing them ends up with a very satin finish (Even the supposedly matt ones)

I can confirm that while those extreme examples will look a bit more satin than before, overall this varnish gives a very satisfying finish for paints like Vallejo and Citadel.

This stuff was matt, no sheen. The matt version still has a sheen, so happy that the Ultra Matt was no sheen.
