the Art of Figures for you dios

This is dedicated to the figure aspects of dioramas rather than the scenery so complementary to most of the duo books out there. nice to see Vallejo distributing this Acciona Press book series so we can get them in Canada.

Useful resource but limited

As the title indicates this is a guide for prepping, modifying, and painting miniature figures for your dioramas. After the general techniques and methods, the book provides specific guides for four military forces: German infantry, Soviet forces, USMC, and Japanese infantry. There is a lot of detail here and there are also photographs of various uniforms and equipment used by those forces. Unfortunately there is nothing included for the uniforms of American, Commonwealth, French, or Italian infantry operating in Western Europe or the African theatres.
