VMS Varnish HD is based on small size binder type to ensure it sprays easily to form an even layer. No spitting, no overspray, no problem! Three easy to spray (no thinning required) types: deep matt, silky satin and classic gloss. VMS Varnishes are 100% translucent – no white traces characteristic of cheap finishing products, even if sprayed in thick layers! Product quickly dries to a durable shell that will protect you model while weathering. VMS Varnish HD is able to repel unwanted particles better than standard varnishes thanks to low surface contamination factor. Dedicated to work with VMS Chip & Nick paint. IMPORTANT: The product is susceptible to low temperatures and mustn’t be frozen! Store and handle in room temperature.

Simply the best

Amazing product. Every other matt varnish I've tried, I struggle to get a truly flat finish (AK) or court disaster with the dreaded clouding and have to spray cautiously and do a test shot prior to every session.

This stuff, it's literally a no brainer. It sprays perfectly even, perfectly flat, straight out the bottle at any reasonable pressure, equally through my crappiest or best airbrush. I've sprayed it over a variety of under coats with no hint of clouding (touch wood) so far. As well as a bit flatter, more even, and not nearly as finicky with thinning, it seems to alter the underlying color tones a lot less than AK Ultra, which was my second best experience. VMS seems almost like magic.

Only downside: the bottle is tiny. I'm running out already, and it is hard to come by in North America.
