One of my first few purchases from Sunward. I bought this item for use with Tyranids. Their colour and the nature of how lichen is shaped allows it to stand in convincingly for alien terrain. Definitely useful - although you get a little too much in the big pack and it helps to have a solid container to place the lichen in, as storing the lichen as-is can lead to some of the pieces becoming compressed. This in and of itself isn't an issue as they usually spring back to their original shape after being removed from a pressurized pack. The colours from the lichen can bleed out if it comes in contact with alcohol or water, so that is something to watch out for. Texture paints have no effect though, which is always helpful. Lastly, these look much better than aquarium fake plants, so there's that.
