Description

For many years the Volkswagen Beetle was the car in which everything started. Countless young people learned to drive a car with him, countless people drove him as the first car in their life. Over the years, improvements have been made to the vehicle to keep the beetle competitive. In 1968 the Beetle also had a standard that still kept it competitive against the competition at that time. The former 1131 cc engine had meanwhile become an engine with 1500 cc capacity and 44 hp. Disc brakes at the front and a new semi-trailing arm rear axle kept this temper in check. The headlights were now vertical and you could fill up the tank through a side flap.
