Description
Famous for such feats as the night attack on the Italian fleet at Taranto and damaging the German battleship Bismarck, the British Royal Navy’s Swordfish torpedo plane was assigned to the less glamorous, but still vital role of anti-submarine hunter from the latter half of WWII. The Mk.II variant entered service in 1943 with a more powerful engine and metal lower wings which allowed it to carry and fire a formidable payload of rockets. Flying from the decks of MAC ships and escort carriers, the Swordfish Mk.II sank 20 U-boats by war’s end and helped protect the vital Atlantic supply convoys.

Amazing kit ! But not for beginners. I would leet the difficulty level is 4 from 5 . The Sunward is the best as usual :). Great prices and delivery time. I ma very happy to work with them.
Been waiting a while to put my hands on this classic biplane model.
very nice kit and i got it super fast as usual great people to deal with
Order filled quickly; received in timely manner and well protected in packaging. The Fairly Swordfish Bi-Plane is well made and detailed. It is a good reminder of the early invention of British Navy torpedo planes. Details like period paint colours add to the kit. Well worth the money. Just started assembly.
This was a fun build. A well made model. It looks great with all of my WW2 fighters
